What happens in Network Groups? Introduction Our Network Groups meet three times a month in local homes.
St Ninian Network Group ValuesJesus is at the centre of the gathered believers and the individuals Christian life…Christian community is fostered through relationship… Each member can grow in their Christian walk and knowledge of God... Every member can be released to minister to others in the Body of Christ… Every member can seek to bring others to Christ… 1. WelcomeAn icebreaker question is asked of every member, who may in turn give his or her response. Each member is encouraged to participate from the outset and hears their voice in the group. This happens to make people feel included from the start rather than acting as a spectator.
2. WorshipThis could be sung worship or may be anything that offers the Lord praise in the meeting. For example the reading of a psalm with time to pause for reflection and prayer.
3. WordThis section is based around personal application of some teaching from the Bible. Often at this point there will be the opportunity for corporate prayer for those who request it, and an opportunity for those in the group to minister to each other.
4. WitnessBased around the corporate aim of making friends with non-believers and seeing them come to Christ. This section is often used for planning socials and prayer.
